with download speeds ranging from 256k to 7M. ADSL offers
greater bandwidth downstream from the Internet than to
the Internet. This means that it is designed to perfectly meet the
requirement of Internet and remote LAN access where the user is typically
downloading (getting) more than they are uploading (sending). ADSL not only offers more
bandwidth but offers it in the right proportions for the application.

Customer premises equipment needs vary,
depending on the number of computers to be connected and the type of
connection available. A typical single computer connection can make use of an inexpensive DSL
modem that connects to a
USB or Ethernet port. Two computers can both be hooked up to our
ADSL Modem, one to the USB port and one to the Ethernet port. If
more than two computers are
connected together an external switch must be used to link the computers and
the ADSL modem together.
Since ADSL travels over the same phone line
as you existing voice telephone, every ADSL installation REQUIRES
the use of filters. ADSL is a high-frequency signal while the voice is
carried on the low frequency. They don't interfere with one another
even when both are being used at the same time. However, a low-pass
filter must be installed at every phone, fax, DSS receiver or any other
device that is plugged into the same phone number used by the ADSL.
Ethernet DSL Modem Can connect 1 computer, one using the Ethernet connection. USB is not supported.

Our advanced ISP Operations Center has
a multi-gigabyte fiber optic connection to the Internet backbone. It is
operated from our facilities in Craig, a local call for most users within
our service area. All DSL lines connect to our Craig facility. DSL users receive full-time, always-on connectivity, the cost of which
is included in the DSL package cost above. Dial-up
users can select from several competitively priced packages listed below.
Our Wireless Internet product is only available in Hayden.
Internet services are delivered via radio waves from our broadcast
facility located on the COG northwest of Hayden. In order to connect to our
service you need to purchase a radio receiver that is installed on the
roof or side of your location. There must be a direct line of sight
between your receiver and our tower in order to receive a signal.
The view cannot be obstructed by trees, other buildings or hills.
